About Willowbean Chocolate
Hi, I'm Niamh, the chocolatier behind Willowbean.
From my little home kitchen in the Welsh countryside, I handcraft every chocolate in small batches using carefully chosen ingredients, from local Welsh honey and dairy to beautiful spirits, fruits and natural flavours. I love creating chocolates that are a little different – flavours that surprise people, but always taste balanced and delicious.
Quality has always been the most important thing to me. Every recipe is developed by hand, tested (many, many times!) and made with care, because I want every box to feel like a proper treat, whether you're buying it for someone special or simply for yourself.
I'm incredibly proud that in 2026, two of my chocolates were recognised with Great Taste Awards, one of the world's most respected food and drink awards. Both my Calamansi & Honey and Brandy Caramel chocolates were awarded 1 Star, judged completely blind by panels of chefs, food writers, buyers and food experts.
It's a wonderful recognition of the care, flavour and craftsmanship that goes into every chocolate I make.
Willowbean is still very much a one-woman business. From creating new recipes and hand-painting each chocolate to packing every order, I do it all myself, and I genuinely love every part of it.
